We met with State Department officials. We discussed the critical situation with political prisoners, sanctions, arrests for donations through Facebook, etc. It was especially noted that there were about 5000 political prisoners.
The necessity of establishing democratic institutions was presented, as well as the concept of organizing the National Council elections and the referendum online.
The work of propaganda and the necessity to support the non-state mass media were touched upon.
Recommendations were offered on all the points.
