Veronika Tsepkalo discussed with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen the need for a broad discussion of the situation in Belarus, during which to discuss the strategy of action, scenarios for the transit period, mechanisms for the release of political prisoners and organization of elections. It was proposed to organize a dialogue platform with the participation of the European Commission, as well as politicians, analysts, journalists and participants of the presidential elections of previous years. Ursula von der Leyen praised the initiative; they agreed on practical steps for its implementation in the very near future.
